Do you like to escape to somewhere warmer during winter? Ever consider the RACV Cobram Resort? It has to be the best family friendly resort in Cobram, in my opinion anyway! Here’s why.

Last Sunday we had the opportunity to sail the high seas on board Searoad Ferries’ Queenscliff to Sorrento ferry here in Victoria. Queenscliff holds a special place in my heart, its where we use to holiday for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year break as a family when I was growing up.

Big 4 Traralgon Park Lane Holiday Park – Victoria

Caravan parks aren’t what they use to be. These days the good ones are totally focused towards children and making sure they are happy and well catered for. Most, these days, have a pool and jumping pillow but some go the extra mile. Like Big 4 Park Lane Holiday Parks, there are four in Victoria, Traralgon, Yarra Valley, Bendigo and Shepparton.  (more…)

Segway tours of the Yarra Valley – Family Travel Blog

Yesterday was Craig’s birthday and I always find it difficult to find him a present for his birthday that he wants or needs so I have been surprising him with a day out or better still, like last year,  a three day break for the two of us in Uluru! This year wasn’t quite so extravagant but we did manage to get a day to ourselves and went on a Yarra Valley Segway tour at the Balgownie Estate. (more…)

Sealife Aquarium Melbourne on the Yarra River

The Melbourne Aquarium opened in 1999, was extended in 2008 and was fully renovated in 2013 to the way it is today. It’s located on the corner of King and Flinders Streets under the Flinders St viaduct and on the banks of the Yarra River and is now referred to as Sealife Aquarium Melbourne.

There’s a new kid on the block, Legoland Melbourne a.k.a Legoland Discovery Centre has brought Legoland to Australia! We are accustomed to travelling far and wide to experience Legoland, we travelled to Legoland Malaysia for our experience. Luna Park – Australia’s Oldest Amusement Park

I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life and I remember visiting Luna Park as a child. Luna Park is a favourite of a lot of Melbournians with it’s distinctive ‘Mr Moon face’ entrance in one of the most prominent locations, beach front at our famous inner city suburb St Kilda. (more…)
